Today we celebrate birthday: The F litter (out of Sél. Ch. NESCAFE des Pierrailles x Sél. JCh. LOULOU dite YAZOO des Cèdres de la Montagne Noire, CGC) is eight years old.
Our warmest congratulation to Ferre (Ferre Fuego Noir), Fendi (Flic Fendi Noir), Miro (Figaro Miro Noir), Falco (Fetiche Falco Nero), Fleury (Fleury d'Aude Noire), Saskia (Femme Fatale Grise) and our Frizzy (Frizzante Furioso Gris). And our special wish is that all of them please their owners for many more years being healthy and lucky.
For Ferri (Foudre Ferrari Noir) we have lit a candle, and we send dear thoughts over the Rainbow Bridge where he has been called to this year in July. With our thoughts we are of course also with his owners Ruth and Hanspeter, who miss this great boy very much.

The past weekend was show time again for Courage (Ch. KAHLUA de la Maison du Garde-Barrière): She was - together with our Ula (Champ. Family Song's ULA) at the two days international show in Zagreb/Croatia. Unfortunately Courage could only be shown on Saturday, as the time for the breeds to be in the rings was scheduled that way, that both girls should have been in the ring at the same time. Because of the upcoming show rest of Ula it was decided to only show her; Courage can continue her show season 2009 at any time. Courage got Exc. 2 Res. CAC Res. CACIB, Ula's results can be found in the Chinese Crested Homepage.

Today our thoughts are with Arwa (Arwa Zevar CS), our first brood bitch, the mother of our A litter, out of which three kids are still alife (they are more than fourteen and a half year old). We thank Arwa for the wonderful years with her and we have lit a candle, so that she can see that we still think about her, even eight years after she had to walk over the Rainbow Bridge ......

Yesterday I have come back home from a show weekend in Slovenia with Courage (Ch. KAHLUA "Courage" de la Maison du Garde-Barrière). The girl has again brought home great results: 09/20/2008 International Show Maribor Exc. 1 CAC Res. CACIB and 09/21/2008 International Show in Pohorje Exc. 1 CAC CACIB BOB. The Chinese Crested girl Ula (Ch. Family Song's ULA) was also shown again and very successful. Her results can be found in the Chinese Crested Homepage. I had someone make some photos of Courage and they are now in her Slide Show.

Our thoughts are today with Einstein (Einstein Noir de la Maison du Garde-Barrière), who was called two years ago much too early over the Rainbow Bridge. Of course we also think about his owners Sylvia and Rudi, who still miss Einstein very much. Yesterday evening we received some photos from Irene of both her Briards Lishi (ALYSHA de la Maison du Garde-Barrière) and Chili (KANDIS de la Maison du Garde-Barrière).
We are especially pleased about the pictures of Lishi, the fawn girl out of our first litter, which is now already 14,5 years of age. THANK YOU , dear Irene!!!

For Ruth and Hanspeter the age of Lishi must sound nearly impossible, thinking about the fact that they just lost their Ferri with only being 7,5 years old. We really wished he would have had some more years with you. Day by day we think about him when we are looking at our Frizzy. ......

Once again a candle has been lit here ......
Completely taken aback we have to recognize that yesterday evening Ferri (FOUDRE FERRARI NOIR de la Maison du Garde-Barrière) had to be joined completely unexpected by his owners and our dear friends Ruth and Hanspeter to make his last journey and was called to go over the Rainbow Bridge. Too early ...... way too early ...... he was only allowed to be among us for seven and a half years. We grieve for Ferri (the brother of our own Frizzy) as much as his dear human, to whom he brought luck and pleasure all his life long. In our hearts, too, this wonderful son of Yazoo will remain unforgotten.

We thank Ruth and Hanspeter that they gave Ferri a home for his life long, which one can wish for any dog. Never he had a lack of anything and he had a full and active happy life. We are also grateful that they stood by their faithful companion until the last second and let him go when it was necessary. For little Yoja, to whom Ferri was the big brother, guardian and friend for more than one and a half year, we wish that she need not suffer too much about the loss of Ferri.
Be tightly hugged, Ruth and Hanspeter. We know this pain too much. It shall be a small comfort for you, that now Ferri is together with his small great friend Robin, who was a great companion for him from beginning on, as well as with his gorgeous mother Yazoo and with all from here, who had to go already, waiting for us at the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. We only wished, we could help you more in this hard time being .......

Courage (KAHLUA "Courage" de la Maison du Garde-Barrière) has been in Montenegro at the Adriatic Cup and returned back home with thrilling results: 2 x Exc. 1, 2 x CAC, 1 x CACIB, 2 x BOB and she turned to be Champion of Montenegro. The strenuous trip was worth it, and besides that we have spent great days at the coast with friends. Of course the slide show of "Courage" has been supplemented with new photos.
We are very proud of our Courage, who is now a Champion at the age of not even two years.
Courage was not the only one from here who was in Montenegro: our joung "Fidji" joined us and has been shown. With her there were also great results. The ones interested in these news can find them in our Chinese Crested Homepage.

For the siblings Chivas Regal, Clochard, Chloe and wonderful unforgotten Chaos, who are unfortunately already with their parents over the Rainbow Bridge, a candle is burning here today, so that they know we are thinking of them. The thoughts are also with Inger and Bosse in Sweden, who still have not really got over the loss of Chaos half a year ago. I hug you and I thank you for an uncountable repeated time for the wonderful life and for everything you offered Chaos.

Today our dearly loved Samson (UGO de la Morne Plaine) would celebrate his 12th birthday. Much too early, completely unexpected and incomprehensibly he was called to go over the Rainbow Bridge - exactly two weeks after his ninth birthday. A candle has been lit for him and the thoughts are with this gorgeous boy who has made so many people with his many wonderful children very happy.
Samson, you are unforgotten here, and in our hearts you will live forever.

If a 10th birthday is something great, then today is a much greater day: The A litter celebrates its 14th birthday. THE VERY BEST BIRTHDAY WISHES for Alysha, Aramis and Aristide. We are indescribably happy that you still bring so much pleasure to your humans, and we wish you from the deepness of our hearts that you can spend a continuing nice and happy time with your humans. ALL THE VERY BEST!!! With our thoughts we are with you, and we hug and kiss you.
Your humans we owe gratitued with all our heart that at any time in your life the have only done the very best for you and, therewith, offered you a beautiful and such a long life.
Of course we have not forgotten the others of this litter, which have already gone over the Rainbow Bridge .......... and also not their parents. For all of them a candle has been lit, which will burn all day long and send its light to Atos "Caruso", Aron, Apollo and Akira as well as Sándor and Arwa, to show them that with our thoughts we are with them (and of course also with our other dearly missed family members and bred dogs over there).

We thank you for each single day till you are here. You have made them all to wonderful and unforgettable days. Even though we have missed your growing up, because you have come here when you were nearly two years old, we think that we don't have missed too much, as you have been from your nature always funny, lucky and full of temperament as a puppy, and that is the way you still are, for what we are infinitely grateful and happy each and every day. And we also thank you for your great litter, which you made a gift for us, with which you blessed us a wonderful time and infinite unforgotten memories, and with which you made some people very happy and lucky, namely because they can join a wonderful kid of you. We also want to say thank you that you grew very fond of ANY puppy, any young or older dog, which every came to this house, and that you have been and still are a great playmate for them.
A repeated thank you to Pascale and Ronni, who haven given this great girl the possibility to join us here and improve our life, ...... who have given us the chance to give a home to a very beautiful and extremely striking girl. We thank Pascale and Ronni for the way they raised Oh-Lala by supporting and retaining the excellent qualities, even though from genetics everything was given along in a perfect way and, therewith, the cornerstone of a very remarkable character was laid. We know way too good how such a genetical perfect nature could turn to be in the wrong hands. Passing the French Selection at the age of just one and a half year with excellent (20/20 character points), is really a great achievement ...... Thank you, Pascale and Ronni!

On time at Christmas this gift reached Sweden. Mrs. Liegle (animalportrait.at) has once again done a grea job with this drawing - an absolute reflection of the photo I sent her. Inger's words after receipt of the picture: "... It IS Chaos, not just a portrait, ...........
I had asked Inger, which of all the photos of Chaos she likes most, of course without telling her why I wanted to know this. She sent me two and I picked one for this portrait to make her happy and to somehow thank her. Both from Inger chosen photos I have taken while I was in Sweden in May 2005, and it made me even more happy that Inger chose them as her favorites.
